Who Are We?

Had a wonderful service in church today.  My Pastor spelled it all out for us, what our Savior did for us to give us life.

This young lady is an elementary school teacher and attributed her persona as one to the neat little acronym she came up with as she reflected on the message from our pastor.

I’m going to type it all out for you, not exactly with her permission, but with her knowledge.

May it speak to you as it did to me.

Who Am I In Christ?

Free from sin that leads to death

(Rom 8:2)

One in Christ with all other believers

(Gal 3:28)

(Rom 3:24)

God’s Masterpiece, who is loved

(Eph 2:10, John 3:16)

Identified as belonging to God by the Holy Spirit

(Eph 1:13)

Void of Fault

(Eph 1:4)

Eternal glory will come to us

(2 Tim 2:10)

New persons without condemnation

(2 Cor 5:17, Rom 8:1)

Free from our sinful nature

(Col 2:11)

Raised up to sit with Christ in the Heavenly realms

(Eph 2:6)

Embraced as God’s children

(Eph 1:5,6)

Enjoy the promise of blessings through Christ

(Eph 3:6)

Complete in Christ

(Col 2:10)

Holy and without fault

(Eph 1:4)

Resurrection that is coming will bring us new life

(1 Cor 15:22)

Into God’s presence we can come, boldly and confidently

(Eph 3:12)

Sins are taken away, forgiven

(Eph 1:7)

Transformed by the Holy Spirit

(Gal 5:22-23)

Boldy and confidently we can come into God’s presence (Eph 3:12)

Brought near to God  (Eph 3:12)

Belong to God by the Holy Spirit  (Eph 1:13)

Belong to Christ’s body, the Church  (Eph 5: 29,30)

Blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ  (Eph 1:3)

“…you and I are forgiven and free.  When you and I embrace surrender, you and I choose to BELIEVE, you and I will see who we were meant to BE.”
